and i went on an entire tirade of the great tragedy
that is love, relationships, and the works
i mean, how do you explain that to a 10-year-old?

surprisingly she said, "Ya I understand.. That's so meaningful... And sad.."

Yeah it is. It really is.
I couldn't have found a song more apt.

Thus, we blasted that song all the way back home;
repeating it 6 times in all.
Screaming as loud as our lungs can muster,
windows down.

It left me feeling completely empty for the rest of the night.

And it's sad when you know
It's your heart you can't trust..
