This time it'll just be the both of us.

This time we'll laze around in my apartment all day long, not doing anything. (okay, maybe just the one thing)

This time i'm gonna treasure you more and even cook you breakfast. In bed.

This time i'll read to you my favourite passage in my favourite book,

i'll let you hug me to sleep instead of asking you not to crush me with your heavy hands,

I'll tuck my cold feet under yours in the morning.


Because if distance makes the heart grow fonder,
then this heart is very, very fond.

Afterall, after spending AUD$1000 on a bevy of birthday presents,
I want to make this worth our while.
